This system provides a clear, consistent, and visual way to monitor project health, enabling us to address challenges early and deliver successful outcomes. By focusing on time, budget, and quality, we ensure that customer satisfaction remains a priority throughout the project lifecycle. Our traffic light system helps us quickly assess and communicate the project's status based on time, budget, and quality.
Here’s how it works
The traffic light status is determined in collaboration with the customer, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding at every stage.
Key Factors We Evaluate
1. Time
- 🟢 Green: We have a communicated timeline, and we are delivering on schedule.
- 🟡 Yellow: There are delays, but the customer has been informed and approved of the adjusted timeline.
- 🔴 Red: Delays have occurred, the customer has been informed, but approval for the new timeline has not been received.
2. Budget
- 🟢 Green: We are delivering within the approved budget.
- 🟡 Yellow: We anticipate exceeding the budget but have informed the customer and received their approval.
- 🔴 Red: The budget has been exceeded, and the customer has not approved the overage.
3. Quality
- 🟢 Green: The customer has expressed satisfaction with the delivery.
- 🟡 Yellow: The delivery did not initially meet quality standards, but the issue is being addressed, and the customer is satisfied with the resolution.
- 🔴 Red: The delivery has not met quality standards, and the customer remains unsatisfied.
We win together by fostering:
- Transparent Communication: The project’s status is regularly reviewed and updated with the customer.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Yellow and red lights signal when issues need immediate attention, prompting timely discussions and action plans.
- Customer Collaboration: Determining the traffic light status is a collaborative effort, ensuring both parties are aligned and aware of any challenges.
